The French Football Federation have confirmed on their official website that striker Anthony Martial has left the national team training camp in order to sign a contract with Manchester United.
Martial, 19, hit 11 goals for Monaco last season, and is widely considered as one of the top young forwards in Europe after his promising campaign under Leonardo Jardim.
Now though, Martial looks set to follow the likes of Layvin Kurzawa, Aymen Abdennour, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Yannick Ferreira Carrasco in leaving the Stade Louis II this summer.
As confirmed by the French Football Federation, Martial has left the national team training camp today, and is flying to Manchester in order to join United.
Louis van Gaal's men are in desperate need of a new striker having so far failed to add a striker to support the so far underwhelming Wayne Rooney in attack.
Reports broke on Sunday that United were hoping to sign Martial, with RMC Sport in France suggesting that the Red Devils had lodged a £36.3m bid for the teenage striker.
It now seems that Monaco and United have come to some sort of agreement over Martial, and the French Football Federation suggest that Martial is heading to sign his contract at Old Trafford before returning to training on Tuesday.
