Tottenham transfer news: Berahino still wants move; Fazio, Lennon and Adebayor tipped to leave; Pochettino wants Song

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

According to a report from the Telegraph, West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has not given up hope of joining Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window closes on Tuesday evening.

The England under-21 international has been the subject of two failed bids by Spurs and has seen a transfer request rejected by the Baggies, but the latest report suggests a move to White Hart Lane could still be possible this summer.

The report goes on to claim that a £25million bid from Tottenham could tempt West Brom into doing business but only if the structure of the payments is to their liking.

In other news, the Sun claims Tottenham are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.

With Spurs manager Daniel Levy searching for a new experienced defensive midfielder, the former West Ham United loanee is being tipped as a potential arrival.

However, Song’s history as an Arsenal player could make any move very unlikely despite the potential bargain nature of the mooted deal.

And finally, back to the Telegraph which claims Tottenham still expect to wave goodbye to three players this summer in the form of Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon and Federico Fazio.

Adebayor will reportedly decide whether to move to West Ham or Aston Villa while West Brom could yet resurrect a deal for Fazio despite personal terms not being agreed last week.
