According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham United have made a bid to sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.
The Hammers currently have the likes of Andy Carroll, Enner Valencia and Mauro Zarate on the sidelines with injuries, meaning Slaven Bilic must bring in a new striker before the transfer deadline.
With just 48 hours to go until the transfer deadline, West Ham have to move quickly in order to snap up a new forward - and it seems that they have moved in on their top target.
Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio reports that West Ham have made a bid to sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, worth £10m.
It's added that West Ham's offer includes a £3.5m bonus, with the Hammers clearly hoping to tempt United into a deal before the deadline.
The Mexican international, 27, is out of favour at Old Trafford, and certainly needs to leave in order to play regular first team football this season.
The report also states that Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are willing to offer £12m for Hernandez, meaning West Ham have real competition for his signature in the coming days.
With a proven Premier League record, Hernandez could be just what West Ham need - but a total of £13.5m may be deemed excessive for a player who is clearly unwanted at United.
