Rangers hammered Queen of the South 5-1 this afternoon.
Rangers coasted to yet another huge victory this afternoon as they hammered Queen of the South 5-1 in the Scottish Championship.
Mark Warburton's first seven competitive games ended in wins, and now he can make that eight out of eight after a stunning display at Palmerston Park.
Andy Halliday got the ball rolling in the first half, before a penalty from Martyn Waghorn made it 2-0 shortly after half time.
That gave Rangers control of the game, and Jason Holt quickly added a third, before Barrie McKay made it 4-0 just past the hour mark.
Another spot kick from Waghorn put Rangers 5-0 up on 76 minutes, before Aidan Smith pulled one back for Queen of the South late on.
After the final whistle, Rangers players took to Twitter to celebrate the victory, with Wes Foderingham, Dominic Ball, James Tavernier, Andy Halliday and Nathan Oduwa all passing on messages to the fans.
Manager Warburton even got involved, praising his side's 'outstanding work and commitment' during the victory earlier today.
