Leeds United have been linked with another potential new wide player.
The right winger has played 44 matches for Wolves to date, scoring two goals and providing 10 assists in that time, but the latest suggestion is that he is on the radar of Leeds owner Massimo Cellino, who could be very busy in the next few days according to the rumour mill.
The summer transfer window closes on Tuesday at 6:00pm and the YEP claims that it is not only Excelsior winger Jordan Botaka who could be on his way to Elland Road.
The report claims Leeds have agreed a fee for Botaka and are currently finalising terms on a two-year contract, but are also understood to be keen on another winger in the form of van La Parra.
The 24-year-old Dutchman has reportedly been the subject of talks between Leeds and his current club Wolves in the last 24 hours, although the YEP claims a source has told them that discussions are currently “miles apart”.
That could be a problem with so little time left in this window, but if Cellino and manager Uwe Rosler really want to add him to their squad they will know by now what they need to offer to get the deal over the line.
