Everton duo comment on Twitter after Tottenham draw

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton played out a goalless draw at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday.

Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s draw with Tottenham Hotspur away from home.

The Toffees played out a goalless draw with Spurs at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Deulofeu, who joined Everton from Spanish giants Barcelona earlier this summer, started the game on the substitutes’ bench and came on in the 84th minute.

The 21-year-old winger was pleased with the final result against Tottenham and posted the following message on Twitter after full time:

Everton defender Bryan Oviedo was delighted to have started his first Premier League match for months after recovering from injuries.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at White Hart Lane, visitors Everton had 50% of the possession, took eight shots of which three were on target, and earned two corners.

Hosts Tottenham had 50% of the possession, took 20 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners.
