Celtic defeated St Johnstone 3-1 at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the team’s performance against St Johnstone at home in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

The Bhoys bounced back from midweek’s disappointing exit from the Champions League by picking up all three points from their league game at Celtic Park.

However, Ronny Deila’s side had to survive an early scare to win the encounter 3-1 at home in Glasgow.

Dedryck Boyata scored an own goal as early as the 11th minute, but Celtic scored three times thereafter to remain on course for the league title for the fifth season in a row.

Leigh Griffiths restored parity for Celtic in the 18th minute, Tom Rogic made it 2-1 to the Hoops on the stroke of half time, and Charlie Mulgrew wrapped up the scoring midway through the second half.

The win means that Celtic are now at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 16 points from six matches, a point clear of Aberdeen and Hearts, who are second and third respectively.

Following the victory on Saturday, Celtic fans took to Twitter to have their say on the team’s performance against St Johnstone.
