Tony Fernandes reacts on Twitter to QPR win against Huddersfield

Queens Park Rangers defeated Huddersfield Town 1-0 away from home in the Championship today.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the team’s win against Huddersfield Town away from home in the Championship today.

Rangers won their third successive league game this afternoon, as they got the better of Huddersfield 1-0 at the John Smith's Stadium.

Tjaronn Chery’s goal in the 84th minute proved to be the difference between the two teams in Huddersfield.

QPR chairman Fernandes was following the match, and he was delighted to see the team pick up all three points.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the John Smith's Stadium, QPR had 47% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners.

Hosts Huddersfield had 53% of the possession, took 14 shots of which only one was on target, and earned eight corners.

QPR are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 10 points from five matches, just three points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
