The Crystal Palace winger is said to be back on Tottenham's radar.
Bolasie has been out of action for personal reasons lately and that has delayed negotiations. But the north London side may reportedly still make a late bid for the 26-year-old winger.
Indeed, the Star report that Tottenham have reignited their pursuit of the Crystal Palace wide man - although the south London club will demand no less than £20 million.
Wary of the need to replace Bolasie, Palace may also be persuaded by Andros Townsend being used in a part-exchange deal.
How likely is a deal?
As Tottenham's negotiations with West Brom over Saido Berahino show, Daniel Levy will have to pay what is required to sign his man - especially with so little time left to recruit a replacement.
Townsend may well prove a catalyst when it comes to dealing with Crystal Palace. But the overall likelihood of the north London side signing Bolasie seems to be low.
Indeed, Clinton Njie and Heung-Min Son have both already arrived at White Hart Lane and it is a striker Spurs now need, not necessarily another wide man.
