A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United take on Derby County at the iPro Stadium this lunchtime as both sides seek their first win of the season.

Leeds have so far drawn with Burnley, Reading, Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday while Derby have shared a point apiece with Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, Middlesbrough and Birmingham City.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Luke Murphy could well start this afternoon while Leeds manager Uwe Rosler has no new injury concerns.

As for Derby, they can recall the previously injured duo Jeff Hendrick and Jamie Hanson.

In other news, the Yorkshire Evening Post has published comments from Leeds owner Massimo Cellino where he admitted why he had pulled the plug on a potential deal for Watford forward Fernando Forestieri.

“It was clear he did not have the right mentality to come to Leeds,” the Italian said, with the YEP going on to claim that Leeds have now turned their attention to other targets with a few days left before the transfer window closes.

And finally, Calcio Mercato reports that Atalanta and Bologna will find the biggest obstacle for a potential move for Leeds defender Giuseppe Bellusci is Rosler, who sees the defender as a vital player for the Whites.

The report claims the Leeds boss’s stance may soften if he signs a replacement in the coming days.
