Trevor Sinclair says Mark Noble should be new West Ham captain

Should Mark Noble be the new West Ham United captain?

Trevor Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to suggest that Mark Noble should be the new West Ham United captain.

The Hammers are looking for a new skipper at the moment following the departure of Kevin Nolan from the Premier League outfit by mutual consent.

The London outfit have yet to announce which player will now wear the captain’s armband, but former West Ham winger Sinclair seems to believe that it should be Noble.

Former West Ham midfielder Don Hutchison has responded to Sinclair’s tweet on Noble with a humorous remark:

Noble has been at West Ham his entire career and would be a good choice for the captaincy.

The 28-year-old midfielder is an important player for the Hammers, and his experience will also help the team grow under manager Slaven Bilic.

Unlike Nolan, Noble is guaranteed playing time, and the Englishman is certainly capable of leading the team.

West Ham will take on Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
