Tottenham fans react on Twitter to signing of Heung-Min Son

Tottenham completed the signing of South Korean star Son on Friday.

Spurs completed the signing of Son on Friday, as confirmed by the official Tottenham website.

The South Korean international signed a deal until 2020, agreeing a move from Bayer Leverkusen of the Bundesliga. Son, 23, scored 29 times in 87 appearances for the Champions League side, having moved from Hamburg in 2013.

A regular international star, Son has won 44 caps for his country, scoring 11 goals, including netting at the 2014 World Cup.

He arrives to take a place in the wide positions of Mauricio Pochettino’s 4-2-3-1 system, and his pace and goalscoring threat will add something to Tottenham’s attack which has been missing since the Argentine was signed.

He looks to be a potential star for Spurs, and although he has yet to prove himself in the Premier League, Son appears to have all the skills required to be a success in England.

His signing is one which presents quite a risk, but if he is a success, then Spurs have completed a great deal in bringing Son in before he rises to prominence.

When the deal was completed, Spurs fans took to Twitter to express their pleasure at the deal, with many claiming Son is the player that Tottenham have been looking for to complete their team.
