Michael Owen is urging punters to bet against a Tottenham win this weekend against Everton.
Former footballer turned pundit Michael Owen has told BetVictor he sees Everton picking up points away at Tottenham this weekend.
Stopping short of predicting an exact result, Owen urged punters to take advantage of a double-chance offer which would pay off if Everton either draw or win at White Hart Lane.
Spurs are without a win this season, with just two points from their opening three games, drawing their only home encounter so far 2-2 with Stoke City.
Owen said: "Everton have never won three PL games on the run in London but I think they have enough to get at least a draw at White Hart Lane in one of the games of the weekend."
Everton played in midweek but made hard work of a Capital One Cup tie with Barnsley, although did see Romelu Lukaku continue his impressive start to the season.
His clash with international colleagues Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld could prove decisive towards the outcome of the match, while another key will be Tottenham's defensive midfielder - whoever is selected - finding a way to keep Ross Barkley quiet after his bright beginning to the campaign.
