Goldman to expand technology services

Poland Players Celebrate

Goldman Sachs will increase its presence in Poland in an effort to expand technology services across the globe.

'The expansion will be realized in a phased approach over the next three years to an office size of several hundred employees, most of which will be working in the technology and operations divisions', Adib Sisani, a spokesman for Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, said Thursday.

Bloomberg News reports that the new positions will largely support investment banking and securities operations, helping the company to hand over work processes globally across different time zones. The firm also hopes to gain access to a large number of skilled information technology candidates in Poland.
