The striker will play alongside Roberto Carlos, John Arne Riise and Florent Malouda.
West Bromwich Albion have just allowed one of their more exciting young attackers leave the club. No, you haven’t missed the latest Saido Berahino update.
The player in question is Adil Nabi who has completed an interesting loan move, to Indian football.
The club confirmed earlier today that Nabi would be heading out on loan to the Delhi Dynamos for the second addition of the Indian Super League.
The campaign begins at the beginning of October and ends just before Christmas.
A number of big names have played in the competition already and this season will be no different – with the likes of Nicolas Anelka, Adrianj Mutu, Lucio and Elano all present – among many other recognisable names.
As for Nabi, he might be playing alongside the biggest of all, with 42-year-old Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos acting as player-coach for Delhi this winter.
He will also be playing alongside former Liverpool left-back John Arne Riise and Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda in what should be a fantastic experience for the WBA Young Player of the Season for 2014-15 – who comes from Pakistani heritage.
Hopefully he can learn some valuable lessons during his spell in India and bring them back to the UK, where he can fly the flag for British Asians in a sport where they are still vastly underrepresented.
