Former Watford loanee Daniel Tozser is set for a move to Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Tozser enjoyed two loan spells at Watford, and he impressed during his time at Vicarage Road.
The 30-year-old initially joined Watford on loan from Genoa in January 2012, making 20 appearances for the Hornets.
The Hungarian international joined Parma after his loan spell at Watford, but was immediately loaned back to the Hornets for two seasons.
Tozser was instrumental in Watford's successful promotion to the Premier League last term, making 46 appearances and scoring five goals.
The midfield schemer cut short his two-year loan spell despite helping the club win promotion and he is currently a free agent after leaving Parma as a result of their financial problems.
A number of clubs across Europe have expressed an interest in Tozser, but Queens Park Rangers are in pole position to land the all-action midfielder.
QPR manager Chris Ramsey is keen to bolster his midfield options before the close of the transfer window and with Tozser having previous Championship experience, he sees him as someone who will be able to step straight into his side as he looks to build a squad capable of winning promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
