Manchester United wonderkid Andreas Pereira sent his congratulations to teammates via Twitter for their qualification for the Champions League.
United won 4-0 with a hat-trick from Wayne Rooney and a goal from Ander Herrera.
Pereira was not part of the United squad which travelled to Belgium, with United naming the 18 ahead of the trip via their official website.
It is a shame in a way that he was not involved, for the talented Brazil under-20 star could have benefited from the experience of going with the senior squad in a Champions League away tie, even if not to play.
Pereira will no doubt hope he gets his chances later on in the season. He continues to train with the first team squad, waiting for an opportunity, but United's varying midfield options make a breakthrough tough.
A possible chance will be in early September when the Red Devils host Ipswich Town in the Capital One Cup at Old Trafford, and he will have to seize it. If he does not feature then Louis van Gaal's plans for him will come into question from supporters.
