Ian Holloway has predicted that Derby County will narrowly beat Leeds United when the two sides meet this weekend, according to his regular Sky Sports predictions column.
Holloway, it seems, was destined for punditry. His most recent managerial jobs just didn't go to plan but he could always spin a brilliant quote.
Now, he's giving his verdict on the likes of Derby and Leeds on a regular basis and he feels something has to give between the two sides.
But it's Paul Clement's Rams Holloway is backing, despite admitting he is impressed by the Whites. He feels home advantage will prove key and has therefore gone for a 1-0 win for Derby.
Holloway told Sky Sports: "Wow. This will be a fantastic game. I don't like following trends (Derby and Leeds have drawn every game), it's only a matter of time before one of them wins.
"I was very impressed with Derby against Birmingham and although I like Leeds too, I think home advantage with that crowd will be the deciding factor. It hasn't gone for Paul Clement so far but I feel it will now."
Should Leeds lose, of course, it would be their first defeat of the Championship season. That's despite the fact they are yet to win a game - having drawn four out of four.
United have looked on the cusp of a win on most occasions so far this term but just haven't been able to cross that line. Derby, meanwhile, have found themselves in the exact same boat. But, if Holloway proves right, this weekend will provide that crucial change in fortunes for Clement and his charges.
