"Good riddance" - Liverpool fans react to Mario Balotelli's AC Milan loan move

Here's how Twitter reacted to Mario Balotelli's loan move to AC Milan.

Liverpool have confirmed that Mario Balotelli has joined AC Milan on a season-long loan deal, as revealed on the club’s official website.

The Italian striker has re-joined the Rossoneri following a miserable year at Anfield, during which he made 28 appearances for the Merseyside club - scoring just two goals in all competitions.

He finished the previous campaign with a chance conversion rate of just 2.8%, while creating a mere seven chances for his teammates and seeing success in only 70% of his attempted passes.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Milan are under no obligation to buy Balotelli next summer and they have not had to pay the Reds a loan fee.

Furthermore, while the 25-year-old has given up a chunk of his £90,000 per week salary at Anfield, his parent club will still have to make a hefty contribution to his weekly wage packet.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the troublesome striker’s departure.
