The West Ham youngster dedicated an emotional post to the 33-year-old.

Indeed, Nolan is officially no longer a West Ham player as of Thursday afternoon and there has been a mixed response to the news.
Initially, the 33-year-old was heavily criticised for his form as part of the Irons' midfield. Last season, it appeared there wasn't a single supporter happy with what Nolan was contributing at Upton Park. That led to calls for him to lose his place and, under new boss Slaven Bilic, that became the case.
Now that Nolan has left West Ham, however, supporters have reacted with frustration - as the experienced midfielder is yet to be replaced. And Lee is one of those disappointed by Nolan's departure, although for different reasons.
The midfield man was a source of education and perhaps even inspiration for 20-year-old forward Lee and his emotional Twitter tribute to the former West Ham leader sums that up. So who will the Hammers end up replacing Nolan with? Or will they simply be left with one less squad member to cope with a busy Premier League campaign?
