Video: Leicester's Liam Moore confronts Bury fan who threw drink over him, has to be pulled away

Bury

Leicester City defender Liam Moore was unfairly treated by Bury fans, on a night when Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler was there to see him in action.

Liam Moore and Leicester's night was almost soured by an ugly confrontation during the win over Bury.

A Bury fan threw a drink over the defender as he walked towards the touchline, which led to Moore reacting angrily.

Out of frustration he squared up to the supporter, and had to be pulled away by teammates, before stewards stepped in.

Leicester City won the game 4-1, with a hat-trick from 20-year-old breakthrough star Joe Dodoo.

England under-21 international Moore took to Twitter after the game but did not address the incident.

Absolute buzzing for my bro Joe Dodoo a treble on his @LCFC debut. A day you won't forget. ENJOY IT

The incident capped an eventful evening for Moore, who was making his first start of the season for Leicester.

It could turn out to be his last, with Teamtalk reporting The Sun claiming  Leeds United head coach Uwe Rosler was in the stands to watch him in action, with a view to a potential loan move.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reported this morning that Moore remains a target for Leeds, and could replace Italian defender Giuseppe Bellusci.
