Tottenham media round-up: Club in two minds over Berahino, bid for Son Heung-Min

A selection of the latest stories in the media involving Tottenham Hotspur this Wednesday evening.

Tottenham are considering whether or not to make a third bid for the West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino after seeing a second offer rejected by the Baggies yesterday.

The London Evening Standard reports that Spurs are mulling over whether or not the forward is worth the £25 million valuation that West Brom have placed on the 22-year-old.

Sky Sports report a similar story but with slightly different valuations. They say that their latest bid was £21 million, while West Brom want closer to £30 million.

Elsewhere, Spurs have made an approach for Bayer Leverkusen forward Son Heung-Min, according to German publication Kicker.

They report a bid of around £22 million has been made and the player is set for a medical at White Hart Lane, with the report also carried by the Daily Mail.

The Mail also reports that Spurs have been interested in Stuttgart's Timo Werner and that Napoli are keen on signing Erik Lamela.

ESPN have been among those reporting that Lamela's father is in talks regarding a possible move to Inter Milan, via quotes from the Gazzetta dello Sport, saying that he would like to return to Italy.

His father is quoted as saying: "Their interest in Erik is real. We are waiting for updates over these next few days. There is a willingness on our part to begin talks with the club."
