Report: Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler watched transfer target Liam Moore in action for Leicester City

King Power Stadium - Stormy

The England under-21 defender played against Bury in the Capital One Cup last night.

It is being claimed today that Uwe Rosler was on a scouting mission last night, as he looks to further strengthen his squad for the Championship this season.

It is claimed that the German was in attendance as Leicester City took on Bury in the Capital One Cup last night with defender Liam Moore the reason for his attendance.

The Yorkshire Evening Post are reporting that the Leeds boss was in attendance as The Foxes won 4-1 at Gigg Lane.

The young England under-21 international defender is not currently a regular at the King Power Stadium and has previously worked under Rosler, during a loan spell at Brentford.

The news comes as Leeds are battling to keep hold of one of the central defenders. Giuseppe Bellusci is wanted by both Atalanta and Bologna in his Italian homeland, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

At the moment Sol Bamba is the undisputed number one central defender at Elland Road, as well as being the team’s captain.

However the position alongside of him has been shared between the Italian and Liam Cooper, so a new central defender might indeed be on the shortlist for Rosler this month.
