Aston Villa are eyeing a late move for promising Wolves defender Kortney Hause, report The Sun.
Hause is also reported by the paper to be on the radar of Everton.
The Wolves centre-back was called into the England under-21 squad this week, and has made an impressive start to the season for the Championship side.
Villa may find it difficult to convince Wolves to sell, as the club have already stood firm and rejected their advances for Benik Afobe. Norwich are the latest side in for Afobe, and The Mirror report Wolves are demanding £14 million.
A similarly tough stance regarding Hause is likely, with the defender signing a contract extension in January which runs until 2018.
Everton could land up to be Wolves' biggest threat, if they cash in on unsettled defender John Stones and mark Hause as a replacement. This will hike up his potential price and make it even more difficult for Villa to pull off a deal.
