Rangers supporters had plenty to say but the Celtic faithful also hit back!

Any Celtic fans logging onto Twitter after their Champions League loss to Malmo on Tuesday night would have known what was coming. Whether it was anyone they were following or someone retweeted onto their timeline, it was going to be a field day for Rangers supporters.

And so it proved, with plenty of Rangers fans mocking the Bhoys after Ronny Deila's men were knocked out at the final hurdle in Sweden. Common themes were predictions that the Gers would reach the group stages before Celtic - and that Mark Warburton's men would beat the Bhoys if they played at Ibrox right now.

As if being knocked out of the Champions League in the qualifiers for the second year running wasn't enough for the Celtic faithful, then, the goading of Rangers supporters on social media after the game would have rubbed salt into their wounds...
