Some West Ham supporters back their management team - but are disgruntled by their board.
Former West Ham United midfielder Don Hutchison took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to reassure fans of the club that Slaven Bilic and Julian Dicks will get things right and enjoy a 'cracking season' during the east London side's last ever campaign at Upton Park.
Hutchison had spent time filming at the West Ham training ground and revealed that he'd caught up with the pair over coffee and was enthused by how the duo spoke.
He was never going to say anything else, of course, but Hutchison made it his mission to convince the Hammers faithful that the right men are in charge in the capital.
West Han fans don't panic, myself @JULIAN3DICKS and The Gaffa caught up today for a coffee. They are super passionate about doing well. 1/2— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) August 26, 2015
Once players are up to speed, confident. They are convinced, of a cracking season ahead. 2/2 #keepthefaith— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) August 26, 2015
West Ham fans responded, however, and didn't disagree with Hutchison - but informed him that he was convincing them about the wrong people. Indeed, the support for Bilic and Dicks is wholesome so early into their tenures at the club.
But it's the Irons' board supporters are disappointed with. They feel the side's coaching team aren't being backed well enough by David Gold and David Sullivan and called for more investment from the co-owners.
