It has been reported that the offer was in the region of £22 million, with West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace saying their position remains unchanged.

Several reports, including one from The Guardian, have suggested that despite having his request for a transfer turned down by West Brom, Berahino said he was happy to play in their 3-2 defeat to Chelsea, but Head Coach Tony Pulis kept him out of the side.

They also report that West Ham United retain an interest in signing out of favour striker Emmanuel Adebayor, while Aaron Lennon could end up at Everton having spent the second half of last season on loan at Goodison Park.
The player is valued at £15 million but old club Real Sociedad are said to be the favourites to land the player, who is surplus to requirements at Real. However, Sociedad want him on loan whereas Real want to strike a permanent deal for the midfielder.
