West Brom are in talks to sign Belgian international Mujangi Bia.
As the Midlands club are now aware of his interest in signing, they are preparing to push ahead with a formal approach and Standard Liege are ready to receive a concrete bid for the 26-year-old.
There is no reference as to the valuation placed upon Mujangi Bia’s head, but Standard have no intention to keep ahold of him and are looking to sell the winger as a way to raise some much needed funs.
Who is Geoffrey Mujangi Bia?
Mujangi Bia, 26, is a winger who is best known in England for two spells he has spent here. He played eight games for Wolves, scoring one goal and registering one assist between January 2010 and June 2011, and also played five games for Watford in the 2012/13 campaign. He is a fully-capped Belgian international, having made his debut for the nation in 2009.
He currently plays for Standard Liege, and he enjoyed his most prolific season in 2014/15, scoring nine goals and registering seven assists in 25 Jupiler Pro League games, whilst also playing in both the Champions League and the Europa League.
He is very much a classic-style winger, renowned for his pace and trickery on the ball, and Mujangi Bia looks to be the kind of player who can become a key star in a Tony Pulis side.
