Norwich City have been linked with a talented Tottenham Hotspur youngster.
The report claims the Canaries have already registered their interest in the 22-year-old midfielder, and believe Spurs will be willing to do business provided they have the additional goal-threat of Berahino.
That possible move may still be some way off, with West Bromwich Albion recently announcing that they have rejected a second bid for the England under-21 international, but a top-flight loan move for Pritchard would make sense if he is not going to get chances under Mauricio Pochettino this season.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship side Brentford where he scored 12 goals and provided seven assists for the club as they reached the play-offs. He is now of an age where he will want to prove himself in the Premier League and he is certainly talented enough to succeed at that level.
Tottenham could well keep him and use him in the cup competitions as well as giving him chances in the league from the bench, but if Berahino does indeed arrive and Clinton N’Jie impresses there could be limited chances depending on Pochettino’s preferred formation.
According to the Mirror, Norwich want Pritchard to compete with Wes Hoolahan for the number 10 role but it remains to be seen what this season has in store for talented youngster.
