Arsenal enjoyed 66 per cent possession during the game as they improved over the second half, taking the game to Liverpool and nullifying the visitor's attacking threat.
It is the second successive home game Arsenal have failed to score. Next up they visit Newcastle United this weekend, the last game they play before the international break. Their next match after that is a home game against Stoke City.
