Christian Benteke and Joe Gomez both played well for Liverpool against Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night.

Don Hutchison has taken to social networking site Twitter to highlight a difference he has seen in Christian Benteke since his move from Aston Villa to Liverpool last month.

According to BBC Sport, Liverpool had to pay their Premier League rivals Villa a transfer fee of £32.5 million to secure the services of the Belgium international striker.

Benteke has settled in well at the Reds and played well for the Merseyside outfit against Arsenal away from home in the Premier League on Monday night.

The 24-year-old started the encounter at the Emirates Stadium in North London and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Benteke took four shots, had a pass accuracy of 58%, created two chances, attempted four dribbles, won 67% of the headers, and made one clearance.

Former Liverpool midfielder Hutchison was following the game, and he was impressed with the performance of the former Genk striker.

Hutchison was also impressed with the performance of 18-year-old Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, who started the match against Arsenal and played for the entire 90 minutes.

The former Charlton Athletic teenager had a 65% pass accuracy, created one chance, put in three crosses, attempt one dribble, won 63% of the tackles and 50% of the headers, and made five interceptions, four clearances and three blocks.
