Manchester United attacking midfielder Adnan Januzaj has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the side’s failure to win against Newcastle United at home on Saturday afternoon.
United lost their 100% record in the Premier League this season, as they were held to a goalless draw by the Magpies at Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal’s team were favourites to win the contest on Saturday, having got the better of Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Old Trafford and Aston Villa by the same margin away from home at Villa Park in their opening two league games.
However, the Red Devils had to settle for a share of the spoils, as Newcastle gave a strong and valiant defensive performance.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, hosts United had 70% of the possession, took 20 shots of which eight were on target and earned 11 corners.
Following the draw, 20-year-old United attacker Januzaj took to Twitter to express his disappointment at the final result.
The Belgium international has also stated that the players are focused on winning the second leg of their Champions League playoff tie against Club Brugge on Wednesday.
The Red Devils won the first leg of the tie 3-1 at Old Trafford last week.
It seems that Januzaj is fully focused on winning against Club Brugge, despite recent speculation over his future.
The 20-year-old, who can also play as a winger, is a very talented player and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
According to talkSPORT, West Ham are want to sign the Belgian youngster on a season-long loan deal.
The Liverpool Echo claims that Merseyside outfit Everton are keen on recruiting Januzaj on loan for the 2015-16 campaign.
