Watford and Southampton played out a goalless draw in the Premier League on Sunday.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Watford away from home on Sunday.

The Saints failed to return to winning ways, as they played out a goalless draw with the Hornets at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.

Koeman’s side headed into the encounter on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw with FC Midtjylland in the first leg of their Europa League playoff tie at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Watford are a newly-promoted team and are expected by many to struggle for survival in the Premier League this season, but they managed to pick up a point against Southampton.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, the Saints had 48% of the possession, took 14 shots of which five were on target, and earned two corners.

Hosts Watford had 52% of the possession, took 13 shots of which none was on target, and earned five corners.
