West Ham are hoping to sign the Manchester United star before the close of the transfer window.

According to talkSPORT, West Ham are hoping to complete a deal to sign Adnan Januzaj from Manchester United on a loan deal for the 2015/16 campaign.

The young Belgian international struggled at Old Trafford last season, but he has been afforded more chances under Louis van Gaal this term in the first-team. He scored the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Aston Villa two weeks ago, and has kept his place for the Premier League and Champions League games which have followed.

However, doubts remain about his long term fit in Van Gaal’s squad, and the report claims he is willing to move away on a short-term deal to ensure he is playing consistently in a top European league.

The Hammers are looking to add an increased attacking threat to their side before the close of the transfer window at the end of this month, and it is believed that the club management have earmarked Januzaj as a potential, and available for signing, target.

Slaven Bilic is looking to improve his squad in the wide attacking positions, and Januzaj is strongest on the left wing, whilst also being able to play as a both a number 10 and on the right wing.

However, the Hammers are not alone in attempting to sign Januzaj this summer, with the report stating that both Everton and Juventus are also hoping to complete a deal for the 20-year-old attacker.
