Feruz, 19, has been made available for loan by parent club Chelsea, who want to see the Scottish youth international play a full season of competitive football after the poor season he endured last term.
Feruz was sent on loan to OFI Crete at the beginning of the campaign, but he managed just three games before being sent back to Stamford Bridge. The 19-year-old then went to Championship side Blackpool, and managed one fewer appearance in a team doomed for relegation.
However, he is still young, and is considered one of the brighter talents in the Chelsea academy, and a Championship loan is expected this term. The Blues are willing to pay the entirety of Feruz’s wages, as he is set to become the 25th player leaving West London on loan this summer.
A number of Championship clubs are said to be tracking him, with the report stating that Leeds United, Bristol City and Wolves are leading the way for his signature.
A deal is expected to be completed in the coming days, with the young forward set to drop down a division in a bid to increase his game time in the Championship.
