Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak is holding talks about a potential move to Celtic, report The Times.
The 26-year-old is yet to feature this season, despite the summer sale of star striker Christian Benteke.
Kozak signed for Aston Villa in 2013, but has played only 15 games for the club, scoring four times.
He suffered a broken leg in his debut season, and complications caused him to miss last year too, but is back to fitness now and featured in pre-season.
The Times report Kozak is heading for the exit, claiming he is in talks with Scottish champions Celtic, who face strong competition from German side Mainz.
It would be disappointing for Villa fans not to see the Czech forward fulfill his potential at the club, but after missing so long through injury he needs to be at a club where he can play regularly.
His departure could mean the club going in for another striker before the transfer window closes.
Kozak would be an interesting addition for Celtic, who aim to secure qualification to the Champions League this week if they can see out a 3-2 first leg lead over Malmo.
