Rangers made it six wins out of six games under new manager Mark Warburton with a narrow victory over Hibernian on Sunday.
Warburton watched his side face off against the team tipped to push them all the way in the race for promotion from the Scottish Championship, and will have been delighted to see Rangers edge out Hibernian at Ibrox.
James Tavernier's second half goal was enough to win the game for Rangers, who made it three clean sheets from their six games under Warburton so far.
With a virtually brand new defence consisting of new signings Tavernier, Rob Kiernan and Danny Wilson, Rangers have so far worked well as a unit to limit their opponents in front of goal - and a big part of that has been goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
The shot stopper also arrived this summer, signing on a free transfer from Swindon Town, and he has immediately replaced Cammy Bell in the Rangers goal.
Foderingham made a number of important saves against Hibernian, but he was also lucky to get away with a first half error, where his poor distribution almost cost Rangers a goal.
Fans reacted on Twitter after the game to Foderingham's performance, with many praising his shot stopping ability, but voicing their concern over his distribution - a strange issue for him right now considering how impressive he was in a similar ball-playing goalkeeper role at Swindon.
Here are some of the reactions from Rangers fans after Foderingham's performance against Hibernian on Sunday...
Minus that one shaky pass from Foderingham I thought today was his best game. Looked assured with crosses and always ready with saves.— Gazza (@KingOfIbrox) August 23, 2015
For what's it's worth, I though Wes Foderingham had an excellent game today— Craig McPhee (@Craigy33) August 23, 2015
Thought @wes_foderingham had his best game so far today. Made a couple of great saves.— Damien (@Damien1872) August 23, 2015
#foderingham doesn't look comfortable with ball at his fett. Some good saves tho— MT (@moanytoes) August 23, 2015
We were poor today but still had to much for Hibs. Foderingham gives me the fear and central defence is eh dodgy at best. Roll on next game— Scott (@Dotsy1978) August 23, 2015
Still not convinced about Foderingham and Kiernan, both have a lot of dodgy moments. Waghorns not the answer up top either.— Andy Spiers (@SpiersAndy) August 23, 2015
Shout out to @wes_foderingham a keeper growing in confidence as each game goes by. Also that pass to waggy from my view was unreal!— Michael Smart (@MichaelSmart54) August 23, 2015
Foderingham is terrible with the ball at his feet.— Jamie (@Jamie_1807) August 23, 2015
