Guillem Balague comments on Gareth Bale’s future

Gareth Bale

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Well-respected Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has stated on social networking site Twitter that reported Manchester United target and former Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale will not leave Real Madrid this month.

According to Sky Sports, Premier League giants United are interested in signing Wales international winger Bale from Madrid before the end of the summer transfer window.

Balague, though, has claimed that the 26-year-old former Southampton and Tottenham star will not leave the Santiago Bernabeu anytime soon.

Bale is a superb footballer and during his time at Tottenham showed what he is capable of.

While the 26-year-old winger will certainly enhance the current quality of the United squad, there is no reason whatsoever for him to leave Madrid this summer.

In fact, Madrid themselves have no conceivable reason to sell a player they signed from Spurs in the summer of 2013.

The Spanish giants are aiming to win the treble this season, and new coach Rafael Benitez will certainly consider Bale an important part of his squad to achieve that.
