Leeds United had recent signing Chris Wood to thank for their latest Championship point, with the New Zealand international scoring shortly after the hour-mark to ensure the Whites drew 1-1 with Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

The result means Leeds are yet to win any of their five games this season, but they have drawn all four league matches to date and showed plenty of promise therein.

That does not mean Leeds manager Uwe Rosler will not be disappointed with a return of just four points from a possible 12 but at least they are yet to taste defeat under the former Brentford and Wigan Athletic boss and that bodes well for the months ahead.

Young midfielder Kalvin Phillips was again given a run-out in the absence of the suspended Lewis Cook, while Sol Bamba, Stuart Dallas and Charlie Taylor all stood out for the hosts.
