The Liverpool players were training on Saturday ahead of Monday night's Premier League game against Arsenal away from home.
The Reds will head into the match at the Emirates Stadium in North London on the back of a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield.
It was the Merseyside outfit’s second win in as many Premier League games, with Brendan Rodgers’s side having started their 2015-16 league campaign with a 1-0 triumph over Stoke City away from home at the Britannia Stadium.
Liverpool’s performances against Stoke and Bournemouth were not great, and the players will need to step up their game against Arsenal on Monday.
One of the players who will be looking to feature for Liverpool and make his first league appearance of the season is Joao Carlos Teixeira.
Teixeira is a highly-rated young attacking midfielder who has played once in the Premier League for Liverpool so far in his career.
The 22-year-old had a positive spell on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion last season, scoring six goals and creating 63 chances in 32 Championship appearances.
