Leeds have no impending transfers lined up according to Uwe Rosler.
Speaking in a press conference, and quoted by audioBoom, Uwe Rosler played down the chances of an incoming Leeds United signing, after Rotherham boss Steve Evans claimed they would be bringing in a big-money player.
Rosler said: "He maybe got the club wrong."
This comes after Steve Evans told a press conference that he believed Leeds were about to make a big money signing earlier today.
While discussing busy transfer market in the Championship, Steve Evans suggested Leeds to make a big signing. Have been linked w/Forestieri.— Rob Staton (@robstaton) August 21, 2015
Whilst surprising for Evans to say, considering he does not know the inner workings of Leeds, the links with players have suggested a new signing could be imminent.
Watford forward Fernando Forestieri was linked with the club, although the Yorkshire Evening Post have claimed that any deal is unlikely due to the financial reasons.
It is these financial reasons which look to have put an end to any business Leeds may look to complete, considering they have already signed a number of players this summer.
Deals have been completed for the likes of Stuart Dallas and Chris Wood, which not only make the Whites a competitive side, but also make them one of the bigger-spending teams in the Championship.
The first-team squad is still slightly thin on the ground, and it is likely that Rosler would not reject the chance of making new signings, but they will surely have to be free transfers if any deals are to be completed before the close of the transfer window at the end of this month.
