The Daily Mail has reported that Tottenham are willing to pay around £16 million to sign Victor Wanyama from Southampton.

The paper states that the holding midfielder is an option Tottenham are considering with around a week and a half left to run in the transfer window.

The paper doesn’t state whether that fee is along the same lines as to what the Saints are thinking in terms of his valuation.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has been quoted by FourFourTwo brushing off reports linking Yannick Bolasie with a move to Tottenham.

The website of the magazine claims that he is a realistic target for Tottenham, as they look to add some genuine width and pace to their squad.

However, Pardew has suggested that Bolasie would always be linked with a club like Tottenham, because of his talent as a player.

“Yannick will be linked with other clubs like Tottenham because he is an exciting player,” he said.

ESPN claims Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela is facing an important few weeks at the football club.

Lamela has struggled to produce his very best form at the club following a move from AS Roma.

However, it seems unlikely that he will be sold in the summer transfer window, with Mauricio Pochettino likely to retain him as part of the squad.
