Tottenham fans send clear message to Pochettino on Twitter about Pritchard

Alex Pritchard has committed his long-term future to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the news that Alex Pritchard has signed a new contract with the club.

The Premier League outfit announced on their official Twitter page earlier today that the 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him remain at White Hart Lane until June 2019.

Pritchard is a highly-rated youngster who can play as an attacking midfielder as well as a winger.

The 22-year-old has been on the books of Spurs since 2009, when he joined them after leaving London rivals West Ham United.

The Englishman is not guaranteed a place in Tottenham’s starting line-up, though, as he played on loan for Brentford last season.

During the 2014-15 campaign with the Bees, Pritchard scored 11 goals and created 111 chances in 46 Championship games.

Following the announcement of Pritchard’s new deal, Tottenham fans took to Twitter to urge head coach Mauricio Pochettino to play him regularly this season, with first-team regular Kyle Walker congratulating the youngster.
