Stuart Dallas and Alex Pritchard react on Twitter to Andre Gray move

Burnley kicking off against Cardiff 20/04/13

The Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur youngsters were team-mates of the new Burnley striker during his time at Brentford.

Leeds United and Tottenham wide men Stuart Dallas and Alex Pritchard have taken to Twitter to congratulate new Burnley striker Andre Gray after he completed a move from Brentford.

Both Dallas and Pritchard worked with the 24-year-old during their time with the Bees but have since moved on, the former joining Leeds and the latter returning to parent club Spurs.

Now Gray has also left Brentford and Dallas was quick to congratulate him on his move to Burnley.

Tottenham winger Pritchard also sent Gray his best wishes, with interest in the striker believed to be high before Burnley finally announced confirmation of his signing on Friday afternoon.

Away from all the well wishes, however, Burnley are likely to come under scrutiny for the big-money fee they paid for the Brentford striker.

The Clarets have paid a club-record fee for the 24-year-old, with the BBC among others reporting it to be worth £9 million.

That's huge money in the Championship - verging on Ross McCormack from Leeds to Fulham territory. And it will ensure there is pressure on the former Brentford forward to thrive at Burnley.
