Nottingham Forest youngster Roger Riera says that new Chelsea signing Pedro is an example to follow.

Nottingham Forest youngster Roger Riera has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the signing of Pedro by Chelsea.

Premier League giants Chelsea have recruited Spain international winger Pedro from European champions Barcelona on a four-year deal.

According to BBC Sport, the Blues had to pay Barca as much as £21 million as transfer fee for the services of the 28-year-old.

Pedro is a world-class wide player and one of the best footballers in the world, and defender Riera seems to be a huge fan.

The Forest youngster, who is a product of Barcelona’s youth academy just like Pedro, posted the following message on Twitter following the Champions League winner’s move to Chelsea.

Riera is a highly-rated young defender who captained Barcelona to the UEFA Youth Champions League title in the 2013-14 season.

The 19-year-old centre-back moved to Forest on a free transfer in the summer of 2014 following his release by the Catalan giants.
