Manchester United no longer follow Chelsea signing Pedro on Twitter

New Chelsea signing Pedro is no longer followed by Manchester United on Twitter.

Burned? Never in for him? Changed their minds at the last minute? Believe what you will, Manchester United missing out to Chelsea for Pedro is the transfer saga everybody has an opinion on.

The Barcelona hero was widely tipped to join the Red Devils, with SkySports reporting just this week he had agreed personal terms with the club.

And just like that, he was unveiled yesterday by Chelsea, a deal confirmed by the London club's official website.

So either like a lover spurned, or just purely disinterested, it is of note that Manchester United's official Twitter account no longer follows Pedro on the social networking site.

Yes they did follow him...

United Twitter Pedro

HITC reported in February how United's official Twitter account started following the Spanish international, seemingly out of the blue.

It did not seem to spark any transfer activity at the time, but made sense as rumours ramped up through June and July regarding a move.

Now their interest in what he has to say is no more, although current Chelsea teammate and former Red Devils striker Radamel Falcao remains on their list.
