The new Tottenham star has picked a number associated with skilful favourites of yesteryear, and is now officially available for the Leicester match this weekend.
New Tottenham signing Clinton N'Jie has been cleared to feature for the club this weekend, the Spurs website has confirmed, after receiving a work permit to play in the UK and also gaining international clearance.
Mauricio Pochettino had yesterday suggested that the Cameroon international could be involved for the trip to Leicester this weekend, though was hesitant to confirm that he would definitely be in the squad when speaking to the press in the conference in the lead up to the match.

And it could well have been that the club were waiting for final clearance before being publicly able to state N'Jie will be in the match day squad, something they have now done.
The Spurs Twitter account has also revealed that the former Lyon star will be wearing the number 14 shirt this season, with 'Clinton' on the back. It is a famous number that has been worn by several of the club's most celebrated modern players.
Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric last wore 14 at Spurs, during his four-year spell in the club, while N'Jie may be a more similar player to French magician David Ginola, another 14-er, who starred for Spurs in the late 1990s, where he won Player of the Year after helping the North Londoners to League Cup glory over their opponents this weekend, Leicester. Gus Poyet was another notable member of the 14 club.
A tenuous link, I'm sure you'll agree, but if N'Jie can in any way win the hearts of the Spurs crowd as those three did, he will be a very good signing indeed.
