Burnley are closing in on the signing of Brentford striker Andre Gray with the player in talks with Sean Dyche's men, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Gray's future at Brentford has been the subject of intense speculation for several weeks with a number of clubs chasing his signature.
Hull have seen several bids rejected by Brentford, while Gray turned down a move to Bristol City earlier this week after they agreed a fee in the region of £9 million with Brentford for the former Luton Town man.
Burnley have now made an offer for Gray and have been given permission to hold talks with him, with the player absent from training at Brentford on Friday.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche has been looking to reinforce his striking options all summer after seeing Danny Ings depart for Liverpool and Ashley Barnes ruled out for the majority of the season with a serious knee injury.
Gray scored 18 goals last season for Brentford as they reached the play-off semi-finals, but it appears he will be leaving Griffin Park before the transfer window closes.
Brentford ironically face Burnley this weekend in the Championship, but it is unlikely any move for Gray will be completed in time for the forward to take part in that game.
