Alex Song deal close to being completed

As reported by TMW, Alex Song is close to completing his move to West Ham, with medical tests all that is left to be completed. The Hammers have come to an agreement with Barcelona concerning his transfer, and an official confirmation of his move is expected before the end of this week.

Bid rejected for Burak Yilmaz

The Hammers have had a bid rejected for Burak Yilmaz of Galatasaray, according to TMW. The striker is wanted by Slaven Bilic, but the £3.5 million bid submitted to the Turkish side was swiftly rejected.

They are said to be open to Yilmaz’s sale, but are waiting for an improved offer should they sanction a move. There is no indication as to how much Gala want before accepting an approach from the East London side.

Vanden Borre unwilling to leave Anderlecht

Speaking to HLN, Anthony Vanden Borre has played down chances of him leaving Anderlecht this summer. Despite holding talks with the Hammers, and being outcast from RSCA’s first-team squad, he is willing to sit in the reserves for the next three years rather than secure a transfer away.
