Swansea City's Jefferson Montero has been linked with Bayern Munich, reports suggest.
Reports in Germany have claimed the Ecuadorian, is on a shortlist of possible wide targets for Pep Guardiola's Champions League hopefuls - presumably as a future successor for the ageing Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery.
Montero has begun the new season in spectacular form, causing havoc from the right-side of Garry Monk's three-pronged attacking midfield set-up.
Having terrorised Branislav Ivanovic on the opening day, he proved far too much for Daryl Janmaat last weekend, leaving pundits and supporters waxing lyrical about his fantastic ability.
He has been the club's top performer in victories against Chelsea and Newcastle, fashioning six key passes, hitting the target from 67% of his total shots and completing a total seven dribbles.
Despite speculation, the 25-year-old joined Swansea last summer for just £4 million and still has almost three years to run on his current deal at the Liberty Stadium, making a move to Bayern very unlikely.
